1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how DigitalTreehouse LLC ("DigitalTreehouse," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use FindAudiences (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
2. Information we collect
Account information: when you register, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information provided by Google. Payment information: when you subscribe or buy credits, our payment processor collects and processes your payment details, and we do not store your full card number. Inputs you submit: we process the companies, job titles, interests, website addresses, descriptions, and files you enter to generate reports. Usage data: we collect information about how you use the Service, such as reports run, credits used, log data, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember preferences, prevent abuse, and understand usage.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, and improve the Service; to create and manage your account and process payments; to generate reports and AI suggestions in response to your inputs; to prevent fraud and abuse and enforce our Terms; to communicate with you about your account, including service and billing notices; and to comply with legal obligations.
4. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us run the Service, including our payment processor to process subscriptions and purchases, Meta's advertising APIs which we query to check targeting availability and audience estimates, our AI provider which processes inputs to generate suggestions, our hosting and database provider which stores account and usage data, and our sign-in and bot-protection providers which help authenticate users and block automated abuse. We may also share information to comply with the law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
5. Your inputs and third parties
To generate a report, the targeting terms you submit are sent to Meta's advertising APIs and to our AI provider for processing. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information in your inputs, as they are processed by these third parties.
6. Data retention
We retain account and usage information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below, and we will respond as required by applicable law. California and other state residents may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
